Join me as we discuss the mark of the beast bible verse. The mark of the beast bible topic is one of the most debated topics in all of christianity.. Can the bible interpret itself? Or do we need to add our own ideas into the text?
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

One of the most miss understood topics in the entire Bible. It has confused and dumbfounded scholars for generations… Man kind has toiled over the text, using their own eyes and understanding to answer this age old mystery.
When we approach this with our own understanding we tend to come up with things like “bar-codes, electronic implants, and even a popular energy drink”
Sometimes its fun just to sit back and watch the “scholars” take a crack at end times prophecy. However the key to decoding this end of the world mystery is locked in a place that most would not ever dream of looking….. In the BIBLE (Wait for the gasp..)
I know, I know I’m being absurd, but really if the Mark of the Beast is found in the bible, Why would its description not be? I mean show me one single passage that points to an electronic i.d. implant!
1 Corinthians 3:19
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
So then lets lean on Gods understanding. Lets let God define his words using his word.
I am going to approach this believing that the reader has at least a basic understanding of the title Antichrist. Im not saying that you have to know who the antichrist is, just that you understand Antichrist means “In Christs place, or Contrary to Christ”.
Starting with verse 16 in book of revelation chapter 13
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
We know from scripture that the one who causes this to happen is none other than the Antichrist himself. The other great mystery of this chapter, but if you continue to search diligently, the mystery just may become unraveled. Continuing on….
I want you to notice the phrase “in their right hand, or in their foreheads.” but does the word “in” mean “under the flesh”? or could this be symbolic? We get the answer from –
Revelation 14:9-10
Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
So which is it? On or in? It seems strange to me that people tend to focus on the evil that is in Revelation, and never pay attention to the Good that is also in there. Did you know there are 2 different Marks? Its true, There is the Mark of God, and then there is the Mark of the false God (Beast). We know that the Antichrist is simply and imitation, not the “real” messiah. So, according to scripture is placing his mark Just as god places his.
Revelation 9:4
They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
Ezekiel 9:4
and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”
And with this we know that God also has a mark. I highly doubt it is a micro chip or a cold energy drink but lets read on to find out. Do you think we may come across a mark of the beast bible verse discussing a micro chip? Lets continue on and find out….
Revelation 14:1
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads
Revelation 7:3
saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
Revelation 7:4
And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
Revelation 9:4

Revelation 14:1

Revelation 22:4
They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
So Gods mark is his NAME according to the bible. Very interesting, his name is his mark, does this mean that the mark of the beast will also be a name? lets find out….
rev 13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.
Hmmm, so the seven heads of the beast had a NAME on them, a Blasphemous name…
Revelation 13:17
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the NAME OF THE BEAST, or the NUMBER OF HIS NAME.
Here John is not saying there is 3 options, the mark or the name or the number, his is giving it 3 definitions. Its the same as saying “I had a cold refreshment, or drink, or beverage. However you want to say it..”
John is literally telling us that the Mark of the beast is his NAME! Just as the mark of God is his NAME! again…
rev 13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.
The word blasphemous is defined as
“sacrilegious against God or sacred things; profane.”
So this NAME is against God or SACRED THINGS.
Revelation 13:18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
John said his name is spelled as a number. However John never said 666 or six hundred three score and six. No John never wrote or spoke in English. When John wrote this in the book of revelation, he wrote it in Greek.
So now let’s look at “666” in Strongs’s Concordance:
Strong’s G5516 – ”chi-xi-stigma χξϚ Transliteration chi-xi-stigma
John wrote 3 alpha-numeric symbols χξϚ.
In All other places in the Bible, numbers are spelled with words, NOT symbols. For example, the number 600 in Rev. 14:20 is ἑξακόσιοι, the number 60 in Rev. 12:6 is ἑξήκοντα, the number 6 in Rev. 4:8 is ἕξ. Rev. 13:18 is the ONLY place in the Bible where these symbols are used! Even though the numbers 600, 60 and 6 are found in the Bible in many places!
So John told us that the mark of the beast is the NAME OF THE BEAST and that NAME IS THE NUMBER χξϚ. So the next logical thing to do is pronounce that symbol in the original Greek We will come back to that after a short history lesson.
The letter J was first distinguished from ‘I’ by the Frenchman Pierre Ramus in the 16th century, but did not become common in Modern English until the 17th century, so that early 17th century works such as the first edition of the King James Version of the Bible (1611) continued to print the without the letter J.
Notice the Name Jesus is written Iesus which is pronounced Yesus, and the name of John is Iohn which is pronounced Yohn.
So if you were to witness to someone in 1611 or prior, and you used the name Jesus, they would have no clue who or what you were talking about! There simply was no Jesus or John or even a river Jordan!
We know that our saviour was born of a Hebrew family, with hebrew names, not greek. we know according to the bible that our saviour was named Yeshua. (If you want to translate that to english it would be Joshua not Jesus) but any ways… God himself named Yeshua, it was not a man made name like Jesus.
Now don’t get offended..
Galatians 4:16
Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?
So is it possible for the name Jesus, Having never existed prior to 1611, be a sacred NAME? Of course not! If Yeshua was born to the hebrew, God Given name “Yeshua” would it be sacred? Of course it is! Please continue on.
So lets get back to the symbol χξϚ or chi-xi-stigma. Lets place that into the scripture in its proper location.
Revelation 13:18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is χξϚ.
Now before I show how that is pronounced in Greek, I want you to remember a few things..
1. Antichrist means “in place of Christ” or “against Christ”
2. The name on the heads of the beast was a blasphemous Name. (meaning against God or SACRED THINGS)
3. The name Yeshua is sacred (Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”)
4. Revelation 3:8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied MY NAME. (YESHUA)
So now keeping that in mind, how did John pronounce the Greek symbol χξϚ?
that symbol is chi-xi-stigma,
χ is pronounced chi as in cheese
ξ is pronounced Z as in Zebra
Ϛ is pronounced S as in Son
now putting it all together we get the False, Blasphemous NAME CHE Z S (CHEZUS)
There was no letter J when john wrote this, nor does that letter exist today in Hebrew or Greek. So how would John have conveyed that name to the readers in his day?
You need to ask yourself, “do I worship Jesus, or do I worship God?”
What else do you think you have been lied to about?
